ON-CAMERA ACTING
Our method of on-camera acting is the best way to prepare actors for the hustle of a busy filmset. Every class is recorded in a true two-camera shoot that replicates the kind of tight working space that working actors will encounter on a daily basis. Editing is done in real-time and students are able to see exactly how well they synch on the small or big screen. Our students learn together. Beginners work directly with working actors. Following each scene, there is a useful discussion of each performance. In addition, students are given a digital copy of the scene for later study. Our acting philosophy enables us to zero-in on specifics that will grow you, both as an actor and a human being.
ON-CAMERA LEARNING
Our primary mission is to prepare actors to work in real-world conditions. Charles E. Conrad said, “Learning to act for the camera without a camera is like learning to ride a horse without a horse.” With that in mind, we create a working-set environment, just like what will be encountered on any acting job. We produce a true two-camera shoot for every class and give each student a digital copy for review.
We train to act for the camera, on a crowded set in front of creatives and crew. From the start, our actors learn the importance of focus and camera techniques in order to maximize their performance and movement within those limitations. We keep class size low to ensure that every student is performing every week.

As a private acting coach, Brian Cutler the star of The Secrets of Isis applies his decades of acting experience into concentrated, personal guidance. Private coaching is designed around the singular needs of the student, and is available as 30, 60, or 90-minute sessions.
