BRINGING TALENT TO LIFE

The actor’s journey begins with the Brian Cutler Actors Studio. Taught by Jill Morehouse, our young actors program teaches a level structured curriculum where students learn the fundamentals of commercial work, scene study and how to audition for film and television work. Our goal is to turn a young student’s interest in acting into a rewarding and lifelong passion. Our combination of nurturing talent through practical on-camera learning makes us the best young actor’s studio.

ON-CAMERA ACTING: YOUNG ADULTS

Our method of on-camera acting, can sometimes seem intimidating for beginning actors. Jill makes sure that every student feels at-home on the set and that classes nurture their skills in a fun and effective learning experience.  Every class is recorded in a true two-camera shoot that replicates the kind of tight working space that working actors will encounter on a daily basis. Editing is done in real time and parents are invited for playback at the end of the class. In addition, digital copies of each student’s work in every session is available at no charge.

CONFIDENCE-BUILDING

As a young actor’s studio, we teach kids the tools necessary to express themselves, naturally and comfortably, on a busy commercial or film set. The environment is supportive and without harsh criticism. Just like the adult classes, we cultivate progress, not perfection.

VOICEOVER: YOUNG ADULTS

Performing in cartoons, as video game characters, in commercials and in animated feature films, the demand for versatile voiceover actors has never been greater. Jill Morehouse and Brian Cutler offers a teaching program that features their insider tips and experiences working in the busy voiceover industry. Their in-depth knowledge helps students in the young actor’s studio to develop a range of voices and characters, and the skills necessary to be successful in this expanding market.
