Intro to Screenwriting

Instructor: Svitlana “Lana” Pukhka | 6 Classes | 2.5 Hours

In this six-week course, you’ll write a complete 10-page short film script — from the spark of an idea to a polished draft. Guided by screenwriter, novelist, and filmmaker Svitlana “Lana” Pukhka, you’ll learn the essentials taught in film school, plus the real-world lessons she’s mastered in the industry.

About the Instructor
Lana is a storyteller who began writing at the age of seven. She holds a bachelor’s degree in filmmaking (directing for film), with a focus on screenwriting, and continued honing her craft while earning a graduate degree in producing for film. She has written both short and feature-length screenplays, published two novels, and provides professional script notes to help writers strengthen their work. Her workshops are known for sparking creativity, providing clear structure, and empowering writers to bring their ideas to life with cinematic vision.
